About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Credit Officer with a focus on private equity and private credit funds. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing counterparty credit risk to US financial sponsor and private capital clients, overseeing a dedicated funds portfolio with various investment strategies. This role involves approving transactions, conducting initial credit due diligence, and maintaining ongoing monitoring of counterparties. The ideal professional will have extensive experience in the private equity and private credit fund sector, including a solid understanding of fund structures, strategies, and associated risks. The role requires a self-starter who can manage their own workload, engage directly with clients, and is capable of leading and mentoring more junior team members. Applicants for the Senior Credit Officer position at the company should have a degree-level education or equivalent, with a background in managing credit risk for private equity and private credit funds. A deep knowledge of the private markets and hedge fund industry is essential, as is a strong familiarity with key market participants.
