The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Intensive Rehab Unit provides patient care following nursing standards and hospital policies. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, managing pain, educating patients and families, and ensuring proper medication administration under RN supervision. The role requires current New York State Practical Nursing Registration and CPR certification.
The LPN provides care to patients in accordance with their developmental needs, following the standards of the Department of Nursing and in accordance with hospital policy and procedure.
