Anesthesiology Physician
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Regular 8;10;12 Pay Rate: $315.25 - $341.25

This facility is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Monday-Friday 50-hour week 10 and 12-hour shifts. 3rd Call: MD call shift - 7pm to 7am Weekend Call: MD (Saturday and Sunday) In house (7a to 7p)
• Supervision 3 to 1 ratio
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): iCare and EPIC
• Board Certification required
• Number of operating rooms: 23
• Active state license required

Located in the Hampton Roads metropolitan area of Virginia, Newport News is truly an aquatic city, surrounded on almost all sides by bodies of water, including the Atlantic Ocean and the James River. Fans of aquatic sports then will find themselves with no shortage of recreational activities, from sailing to canoeing, fishing and swimming. The city's historic downtown is renowned for its preserved historic architecture and landmarks, including the Newport News Victory Arch. History buffs will want to check out the Mariner's Museum and the Virginia War Museum, both of which are well known for their collections. The Peninsula Fine Arts Center is a great option for the creative-minded, containing a rotating gallery of regional and national exhibits.
