At Empower With Purpose LLC, we are dedicated to supporting adults with developmental disabilities—including autism, intellectual disabilities, and Down syndrome, by helping them enhance their daily life skills and reach their fullest potential. Our goal is to empower , not enable. We teach essential skills such as:
Budgeting and money management
Health and nutrition guidance
Social and communication skills
Apartment and job searching
Daily in-home tasks (like cooking and cleaning)
We emphasize a “do with” not “do for” approach. We mentor, guide, and support individuals in doing things independently to the best of their abilities, and assist with what they cannot yet do on their own.

We’re a mission-driven organization focused on empowering individuals with disabilities to live meaningful, independent lives. Our program is a Supported Living Services (SLS) model vendored through the Westside Regional Center .
Qualifications & Requirements:
A people person – friendly, outgoing, and talkative
Strong mentoring and professional communication skills
Comfortable communicating with clients, families, and professional agencies (e.g., SSI, DPSS, doctors' offices, etc.)
Experience working with adults or children with disabilities is a plus, but not required
Willing to learn about a wide range of developmental disabilities (training is provided)
Passion for helping others build skills and independence
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required (mileage is reimbursed)
Able to pass a background check
Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills
Bilingual is a plus, but not required
Paid sick time offered
