Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Junior Underwriter located in Miami, FL. The Junior Underwriter will be responsible for assessing creditworthiness, analyzing financial statements, processing loan applications, and assisting with the preparation of credit reports. Daily tasks also include collaborating with senior underwriters to support efficient loan processing and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Responsibilities Analyze application data including financial statements, bank statements, credit card statements, and personal credit reports Verify the applicants information ensuring documents are valid and meet the funding application requirements Evaluate credit worthiness in accordance with company underwriting guidelines Provide analytical guidance in gathering financial information and communicating with senior management to discuss underwriting and risk decisions Qualifications Problem solving skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical skills including the ability to read and assess company financial statements, cash flow, industry, competitive analysis and projections Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to work in a face paced environment Can multitask at a very high level Committed to integrity, accountability, and excellence Educational Requirements / Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field 1‑2 years in credit analysis, banking, or related analytical role preferred but not required Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule 8 hour shift Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Finance and Sales Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at NewCo Capital Group by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Junior Underwriter” roles. #J-18808-Ljbffr NewCo Capital Group
