Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team in Payson. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to operate various types of light duty tow trucks, including flatbed and wrecker models. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely securing and transporting vehicles and providing roadside assistance to customers in need. The 100 mile service area will include Payson, and the surrounding areas. This role requires excellent driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tow trucks to transport vehicles to designated locations.
• Perform automotive diagnostics and basic repairs as needed during towing operations.
• Load and unload vehicles using proper techniques to ensure safety and prevent damage.
• Provide roadside assistance, including jump-starts, tire changes, and fuel delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of services rendered and vehicle conditions.
• Conduct regular inspections of towing equipment to ensure safety compliance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding service requests and vehicle status.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• 2 Years experience in operating tow trucks.
• Pass a background and drug screening
• Ability to operate tow trucks and manual transmission vehicles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
