Job Description:
Minto's Childcare Center is seeking a passionate and patient individuals to lead a group of 3-5-year-olds in a dynamic summer camp environment. As a Summer Camp Teacher, you will design and facilitate age-appropriate activities, ensure the safety and well-being of campers, and foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and thrives in a lively setting.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead daily activities, including arts and crafts, storytime, music, games, and nature exploration.
• Supervise campers during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
• Collaborate with camp staff to maintain a structured yet flexible daily schedule.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their childs progress and camp experiences.
• Assist with snack times, transitions, and basic hygiene routines (e.g., handwashing).

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children ages 3-5 (e.g., teaching, daycare, babysitting, or volunteering).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred, or willingness to obtain before start date).
• Background check required.
• High school diploma required; early childhood education coursework or degree a plus.
