Duties:

• Manage complex family law litigation cases with minimal supervision
• Represent clients in high-stakes family law matters, including high-asset divorces and custody disputes
• Provide expert legal counsel and clear communication to clients, ensuring understanding of the process and options
• Draft and review legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements
• Collaborate with staff including paralegals, legal assistants, and the billing department to ensure efficient case management
• Provide leadership and guidance in legal strategy and case resolutions, including trial preparation and settlement negotiations
• Maintain the firms reputation for high ethical standards and professional integrity
• Handle complex, high-value family law cases through settlement or litigation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in family law litigation
• Strong ability to handle high-asset, complex cases independently
• Proven expertise in family law statutes, regulations, and court procedures
• Ability to manage relationships with clients and colleagues effectively
• Exceptional writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Track record of success in settlement negotiations and trial advocacy
• Excellent reputation for professional ethics and integrity

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in California

Skills:

• Expertise in family law, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and asset division
• Superior legal research and writing skills
• Excellent courtroom presence and negotiation ability
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
