As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Site - Multiple Shifts in Savannah, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a leading aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. You will be expected to respond promptly to any security-related concerns, communicate clearly with team members, and utilize technology such as computers or tablets as part of your daily duties. This position also requires driving as part of your patrol responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity according to established protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to support a secure environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Remain alert to changing conditions within the location, adapting patrols and responses as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
