Job Summary As an RN in our 53‑bed unit, you’ll care for patients in adult cardiology and medical‑surgical specialties, including pacemaker placements, CHF, ACS, telemetry monitoring, and chronic conditions such as diabetes, COPD, and addiction. You’ll work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide high‑quality care. Responsibilities Provide direct, compassionate patient care while adhering to Legacy Health’s high standards for patient assessment, care delivery, and transfer. Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care for every patient. Advocate for patients by offering education and emotional support, helping them navigate their health journeys. Leverage cutting‑edge electronic health systems to accurately document patient information and provide seamless care. Qualifications Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required. BSN is strongly preferred; we consider RNs without a BSN based on clinical experience and Chief Nursing Officer approval. Experience: At least one year of nursing experience, or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program (or equivalent). Additional clinical experience may be required, depending on the department. Acute care experience is preferred. Skills & Qualities: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to navigate and utilize electronic health systems; strong critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities. Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). Why Legacy Good Samaritan PCU?
