Summary:

The Full Stack Web Developer is responsible for assisting in the implementation of applications and the support of production systems as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Perform programming, testing, conversions, and implementation planning.
• Provide full support for all assigned production systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Create detailed system and programming technical specifications.
• Complete feasibility studies for new projects and technologies.
• Contribute to discussions defining our architecture and technical strategy.
• Participate in code reviews and develop supporting materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using GitHub/GitLab for version control and project management.
• Implement best practices for coding standards, testing, and deployment.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of PHP web development experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience in PHP development.
• Familiarity with back-end frameworks like Laravel.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong database knowledge and experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Confidence and agility in debugging urgent production issues.
• Experience in creating technical specifications and comprehensive documentation.
• Extensive experience in test plan creation and execution, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for production-level code.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Proficiency in responsive design frameworks such as Bootstrap or Material UI, with a strong focus on creating user-friendly, adaptable interfaces across various devices.
• Passion for staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Proven experience acting as a technical lead on large-scale features or projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in security principles and their practical application within web applications, including secure coding practices, vulnerability mitigation, and data protection.
