Personal Assistant

Qualification Requirements

Education: High School Diploma.

Experience: 1 year of experience as a personal assistant is preferred.

Skills:

• Must speak, read, and write in English.
• Driver’s License required (vehicle provided for errands).
• Basic computer skills including Excel.

Job Details

• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Tuesday-Saturday.
• Wages: $29.00 per hour.

Benefits:

• Medical: 75% coverage for employees; dependents and spouse may be added at the employee's cost.
• Sick Leave: Sick leave is accrued at a rate of 1 hour per every 30 hours worked, up to 6 full days per year and it will be accessible after a 90-day introductory period.
• Vacation: 5 days after the first year, with 1 additional day added for each year worked.
• Holidays: 6 scheduled holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day After Thanksgiving, New Year’s Day), plus 1 floating holiday.
• 401K: Up to 3% matching after 1 year of service.
• Overtime: Optional.

Job Duties

Personal Assistance:

• Researching purchases and vendors.
• Organizing files and recording expenses.
• Scheduling appointments for the CEO.
• Managing household projects, including organizing and transitioning spaces as the home undergoes renovations.
• Performing housekeeping tasks occasionally, we have a housekeeper working part-time.
• Supervising the housekeeper to ensure tasks are completed to satisfaction.
• Running various household and personal errands using a company-provided vehicle.
• Assisting with occasional meal prep when needed.
• Ensuring all plants are healthy, identifying potential issues, and addressing them promptly.

Growth Opportunities

This role offers the opportunity to grow into a full-time Executive Assistant position over the course of 1-2 years, with increasing responsibilities related to household management and executive support.
