Position: Onsite Maintenance Technician
Reports To: Property Manager/ RPS
Position Type: Full Time
Locations: Casa La Paz Apartments- 1900 Fullerton Rd, Rowland Heights, CA 91748 (126 units)

Salary: $22-$24 per hour

Assigned unit: 2 bedroom ($1,225.00)

Essential Functions:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to safety and quality. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance services, including but not limited to:

• Plumbing, electrical, heating, and air conditioning repairs
• Carpentry, appliance repairs, and glass replacement
• Completing daily work orders as assigned by the supervisor
• Maintaining professionalism and adhering to company policies
• Performing apartment make-ready work
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems
• Participating in preventive maintenance programs
• Following all safety regulations and standards
• Assisting with other duties as required.

Requirements

• Must have own tools for plumbing, electrical, and basic repairs
• Bilingual (English/ Spanish)
• High School Diploma or GED with two years of related experience
• Ability to operate hand tools and equipment used in grounds keeping
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle
• Ability to operate various hand and power tools
• Deal effectively with co-workers and the public
• Walk, stand and kneel for prolonged periods, climb a ladder

Travel Requirements: This position requires reliable transportation and 100% onsite work. Travel requirements may change at any time.

Physical Demands/Work Environment: This job requires the ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds; exposed to mechanical/electrical/chemical hazards; work outdoors in a wide disparity of environmental conditions; manipulate hand tools while exerting moderate physical strength or while in cramped/strained positions; exposed to dust/fumes; wear protective clothing; work irregular hours.
