Frisco Quick Care is a growing, community-focused clinic that blends the personalized touch of Primary Care with the fast-paced efficiency of Urgent Care . We are looking for a flexible, high-energy Medical Assistant professional who thrives in a "jack-of-all-trades" environment. Full-time and PRN are available.

 

As we are a small but expanding practice open 7 days a week, we need a reliable team member who lives within a local, commutable distance to help us provide seamless care to our neighbors.

 

Key Responsibilities

• High-Volume Phlebotomy: Perform frequent and accurate blood draws for a wide range of patient demographics (pediatric to geriatric).
• Patient Intake: Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document chief complaints in the EMR.
• Clinical Support: Assist providers with minor procedures, splinting, wound care, and EKG testing.
• Lab Management: Prepare specimens for transport and maintain strict lab safety protocols.
• Front-to-Back Flexibility: Occasionally assist with front-desk duties, such as answering phones or checking patients in during high-volume periods.
• Prior Authorization and Referrals - experience is a plus

 

Shift Availability & Requirements

We are looking for PRN coverage across our 7-day-a-week schedule. Ideal candidates should have flexibility for:

• Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday – Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Location: Must reside within a local commutable distance to [City/Neighborhood] to ensure reliability for scheduled shifts.

 

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years in an Urgent Care or Primary Care setting.
• Phlebotomy Expert: Must be highly proficient and comfortable with frequent blood draws.
• Adaptability: Ability to pivot quickly between routine physicals and acute urgent care visits.
• Tech-Savvy: Experience with EMR systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Athena, or similar).
• Certification: CMA, RMA, or Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) preferred.
