A Large Hospital is seeking an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon for locum tenens coverage.

About the Clinician's WorkdayThis position requires coverage one week per month (MondayFriday) and includes both outpatient clinic and hospital duties, with no trauma or weekend coverage. The schedule is Tuesday and Thursday clinic from 8a.m.5p.m., and Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the OR from 7:30a.m.5p.m., with potential add-on surgeries. Providers will round on 05 inpatients per day, perform 512 OR cases per day, and see 2040 patients per day in clinic. There is no APP support, but MAs and cast techs assist in the clinic. The EMR system is EPIC. Providers must be comfortable with hand trauma (excluding replants or orthopedic oncology), caring for patients aged 15 and older.
