Job Description

Job Responsibilities Prioritize forensic medical evaluations, consultations, and treatment planning. Facilitate psychological, psychiatric, and specialist juvenile sex offender assessments and evaluations. Undertake family psychosocial evaluations; crisis counseling; provide expert court testimony; coordinate services; conduct multi‑disciplinary staffings; interview parents, caregivers, and children. Provide abuse and neglect photography; consultation services to other agencies for abuse/neglect cases. Provide on‑call case coordination; provide training and education to other agencies and professionals in the community. Respond to cases of alleged child maltreatment and conduct assessments (initial risk assessments, family assessment) in compliance with established techniques. Contribute as a collaborative team member to the development of case plans, safety, and services planning developed by other agencies. Prepare and present information and documentation for relevant judicial planning and court processes. Compile reports and update and maintain client information, both written and electronic. Provide information and community referrals to child victims and families; follow‑up to ensure services are available and family needs addressed. Participate in team management activities: development of procedures, guidelines, strategic planning. Develop and present child abuse/neglect training and community education for other professionals and agencies. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Level 2 background check required. Grant funded position. Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or other appropriate field. Bachelor's degree candidates must have at least 2 years of applicable experience; a Master's may substitute for the experience. Specific certifications or licensures may be required or preferred for certain program areas.
