Tasks

• Develop personalized health and wellness plans for students incorporating dietary recommendations exercise routines and mental well-being strategies.
• Collaborate with special education teachers psychologists and other staff to integrate health coaching into the students overall educational and personal development plans.
• Conduct workshops and seminars to educate students and staff about healthy lifestyle choices including nutrition stress management and physical activity.
• Monitor and evaluate students progress towards their health goals providing ongoing support and adjusting plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Maintain detailed records of student health plans and progress ensuring confidentiality and compliance with school policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in health education nutrition or a related field.
• Previous experience working with students with learning disabilities is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students parents and faculty.
• Ability to develop individualized health plans that cater to diverse needs.
• Certification in health coaching or a related area is an asset.
