Job Description

Events Assistant

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our team and support the planning and execution of a variety of events. In this role, you will be an integral part of our events team, helping to ensure that each event runs smoothly and meets our high standards of quality. You will be involved in all aspects of event planning, from initial research and venue selection to logistics coordination and on-site support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including meetings, conferences, and special events.
  • Support the team in vendor selection, negotiations, and managing vendor contracts.
  • Help create and maintain event schedules, ensuring all logistics are organized and timely.
  • Assist in the preparation of event materials, including invitations, signage, and agendas.
  • Coordinate guest registrations, manage RSVPs, and prepare guest lists for events.
  • Provide on-site support during events, ensuring everything runs smoothly and addressing any issues that arise.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with event management software.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
