Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an Embossing/Converting Machine Operator to join their team. As an Embossing/Converting Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and experience in manufacturing, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Embossing/Converting Machine Operator

Location: Newburyport, MA

Pay Range: $22-$23

Shift:
2nd shift Monday – Friday 3pm – 11pm;
3rd shift Monday – Friday 11pm – 7am

What's the Job?

• Read schedule to determine timing for machine changeovers and runs.
• Ensure that there is sufficient inventory for production.
• Start and stop operation of machine using machine control panel.
• Align or fasten machine parts such as rollers and blades using hand tools.
• Monitor embossing processes and inspect material for defects.

What's Needed?

• Experience in manufacturing, ideally in machine operation (non-CNC).
• Strong communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Ability to handle heavy lifting and operate a forklift/fork truck.
• Background in paper mills, print shops, or automotive shops is a plus.
