Our school client is seeking a dedicated and passionate Certified English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher - Plainfield, NJ.

Compensation - $40 per hour.

The ESL Teacher will support English Language Learners (ELLs) by providing targeted instruction, fostering language acquisition, and promoting academic success. This position requires a collaborative educator who can work effectively with colleagues, students, and families to create an inclusive learning environment.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must hold a New Jersey English as a Second Language (ESL) Teaching Certification.
* Experience working with elementary school students.
* Experience supporting students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
* Knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS).
* Ability to collaborate as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
* Fluency in Spanish is required.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
* Provide direct instruction to English Language Learners (ELLs) in alignment with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS).
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that support language development in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
* Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to meet the diverse needs of ELL students.
* Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting data as required.
* Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues to support student growth and success.
* Utilize culturally responsive teaching strategies to create an inclusive classroom environment.
