We are looking for a dedicated Billing Clerk to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and efficient billing processes while maintaining the integrity of financial records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and capable of handling high volumes of invoices with precision and professionalism.

Responsibilities:
• Process handwritten invoices received from technicians by scanning, verifying job details, and preparing system-generated invoices.
• Summarize work completed and add necessary consumables while adhering to color-coded guidelines for various account types.
• Handle high-volume billing tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Utilize accounting software systems, including Great Plains, to manage billing and timecard spreadsheets.
• Respond to inbound calls from field employees and provide necessary support.
• Review and ensure all invoice information aligns with job orders and timecards.
• Maintain organized records for accounts payable and receivable.
• Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and resolve billing issues.
• Uphold reliability and good attendance to meet deadlines consistently.
• Adapt to new systems and processes as required.• Experience with computerized billing systems and accounting software.
• Familiarity with Great Plains or similar financial systems is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in high-volume environments.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Reliable work ethic and consistent attendance.
• Effective communication skills for handling calls and collaborating with team members.
• Basic understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures.
