Christ Church Associate for Student and Family Ministry
Christ Church, Tyler is seeking an Associate Rector for Student and Family Ministry, investing in the spiritual formation of youth and overseeing the Childrens and Student Ministry staff. Our purpose is to connect youth and children to Jesus Christ, to raise them as followers of Christ, and to send them into the world to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. Our program is rooted in relationships. We seek to cultivate strong relationships between young people, their families, and the Lord. The Associate Rector will lead a team which conceives, organizes, and develops events and activities which minister to our students and their families. The Associate Rector will personally connect with children, youth, and their parents, and will be a visible and present person in their lives. The Associate Rector oversees all areas of Childrens, Student, and Family Ministries at Christ Church. The Associate Rector will lead a ministry team of professional lay ministers dedicated to nurturing vital Christian faith. Christ Church is a large multi-site orthodox Episcopal church in beautiful Tyler, Texas.
