Job Description Vertex Pharmaceuticals is looking for a qualified Archive and Records Management Specialist. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Excel and Veeva Vault. Project based work to assist Preclinical Sciences Operations team with offsite archive storage support and records management. Attention to detail is a must. Position is Hybrid role, (3 days in office, 2 days remote) Experience with Preclinical Sciences document and material management desired. Project includes working with our offsite storage provider and our operations team to support ongoing process improvements. Identify and collect product/asset lifecycle information, including those marketed, divested, retired, within active pipeline. Work to create Power BI dashboards using EPL Large PCS Inventory List to schedule reviews and upcoming disposition timepoints. Help evaluate volume and cost projects for offsite storage budget projections. Work with internal teams to review upcoming disposition decisions and work with offsite storage and CRO with work orders. Work with Preclinical Sciences Strategic Operations to identify new process for disposition of “expired” material having reached theirretention limits, following the SOP guidelines. Work with internal teams to streamline disposition reviews and ensure adherence to the retention guideline SOP. Help identify tools for automation and transparency.
