Analyst, Service Recovery
Location:
Lombard, IL. This position will follow a hybrid work-from-home/office model with at least three days in the office weekly
Role Summary:
The Analyst I role supports process evaluation and improvement efforts, assisting in problem-solving and contributing to service recovery initiatives to enhance efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction. This position involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and vendors, to support business objectives.
Analyst I applies knowledge and sound judgment to address issues and assist in implementing corrective actions to meet customer expectations. Additionally, they provide reports to management on key activities and areas for potential improvement. While this role may assist with dispute resolution, it primarily focuses on gathering information and supporting higher-level decision-making.
Additional Responsibilities:

● Assist with identifying and troubleshooting basic operational issues to support cost and service improvements.
● Support the preparation of weekly/monthly reports for upper management.
● Assist with data gathering and variance analysis for Inland Operations.
● Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks as needed.

● Basic understanding of logistics or transportation operations, with a willingness to learn more about rail, trucking, or related services.

Function-Specific Required Skills and Competencies:
● Basic understanding of Google Suite and Excel applications, with a willingness to learn advanced functions.
● Foundational knowledge of inland logistics, intermodal, and port operations, with an eagerness to develop expertise.
Required Minimum Years Experience:
2+ years of function-related experience
Required Minimum Education:
Highschool diploma/GED Required
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
